We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” Maya Angelou

Like many women, I have been through many changes and seasons in my life- each one shaping me to become the person I am today.

I was a teacher for over 20 years- both in mainstream secondary schools teaching Drama, performing Arts and Dance in Cornwall and Devon and latterly teaching therapeutically creatively and academically in a specialist provision.

I am a Dramatherapist, a Mother, a Step Mother and a Grandmother of 2. I am a wife to an amazingly tolerant and lovely man and I belong to a cat called Margaret. I have moved countless times but have finally found my home in Totnes over the past 15 years.

I am also a survivor with lots of stories to tell of my life in this body- some of which you ,may relate to.
Today I am a ( mostly) happy, energetic, enthusiastic, menopausal woman!

Changing career at this time in my life has been a wonderful chance to take a leap of faith; I have done so with fear, certainty and with both eyes, heart and hands open!
